ZANE fights Cholera

ZANE staff in the Fight against Cholera in Zimbabwe

UN statistics state that cholera has killed at least 565 people in Zimbabwe since August. The Zimbabwe government has now asked for international help to fight the disease.

ZANE medical staff are working to treat cholera victims and alleviate the suffering that is caused.

A ZANE doctor writes

"We are doing well, growing stronger despite all the chaos around us…

I am currently working in the cholera wards in the Infectious Diseases hospital in Harare, It is absolute chaos an incredibly heartbreaking work …

The team is doing well in Harare, Bulawayo and the other areas, but I sense a great weariness…"

As well as treating cholera sufferers, ZANE are involved in running educational and community programmes to help people to avoid infections and live sustainable lifestyles.

Please will you help us? Any contribution, however modest,
will make a difference.
ZANE has a first class team on the ground across Zimbabwe. ZANE has systems in place that ensure that every pound donated, is used to its maximum advantage. The money will be prudently used and will go towards the relief of hardship and acute misery.
The cost of care. . .
ZANE has no offices and employs only a small staff in the UK. There are no middlemen and there is no waste.
