Figures released by the UN and the Zimbabwean health ministry show that two thirds of the victims of Zimbabwes cholera outbreak died in December.
On 1st December 2009 there were 11,735 suspected cases resulting in 484 deaths. By Christmas Day, 25th December, this had risen to 29,131 cases and 1,564 deaths.
